Challenge Donation: Members of the “Read Between the Wines” Book Club recently decided to make a donation to the SML Charity Home Tour and reached the Bronze sponsorship level with a Club contribution of $365. The group hopes other area book clubs will follow their lead and make donations of their own. After presenting their checks to Sponsorship Chairman Phil Servidea, members pose holding signs naming the charities that will benefit from this year’s donations. |

Home Tour’s Youngest Patron – Isabel Brunnel of Moneta, age 6, responded to the 2011 Charity Home Tour Patron Appeal by donating $8—a dollar for each of the eight charities that will benefit from all Patron contributions, ticket sales and generous Sponsor contributions—to the Lake’s premier charity benefit event. Here Isabel gives the cash to Tour founder Jeanne Wagoner. “Every donation will help us meet our goal of providing funding to help these charities serve the needy in the SML area,” said Phil Servidea, Home Tour Sponsorship Chairman.
