- Virginia Dare Cruises will host a Tour home viewing cruise on Sunday, Oct 7. Departing at 2:00, the two-hour luncheon cruise (appetizer, entrée, dessert and beverage, including tax and gratuity) will pass close to four the Tour homes. $5 off the regular price of $42 for Tour ticket holders. Those who want to sight-see only (no lunch) can enjoy an afternoon afloat on SML for $15. It’s a marvelous way to experience the Lake from the water. Fall Festival Activities:
- Bridgewater Plaza is staging a Fall Festival again this year -- Oct 6 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sidewalk sales offered by plaza businesses, various craft vendors and live entertainment on Mango's stage. Entertainment includes: VA Dance Academy performances, the Harmeneers, a DJ, Staunton River High School Choir, Traditional Tae Kwon Do Academy demonstrations, Balloon Dude Travis, and Honey Tree Learning Center face painting.
